Favoritaaaaas 2013

It's been quite a while I know, moving, christmas, you know the drill but I wanted to get started with something I love to read on every blog I follow - favorites. So here we go, get a cup of tea and get ready to be favotitized!

Skincare

Isana Med Cleansing Wipes: I just love them, never had better ones and I stopped buying other ones. I use them to fresh up my face or remove make up (before washing my face). They are super soft, thick and very moist. Also they are perfect for sensitive skin, usually wipes make my eye area burn but not this ones. You can get them in Rossmann ( available in Germany, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic and Turkey and maybe more countries), if they are on offer they are priced under one Euro which is super good when you are on a budget.

Balea Soft & Clear Night Cream, Anti Spot Gel, Cleansing water: I used this range a while back and after they canged the packaging it got my attention again. The night cream is very nice if you have issues with spots and sinks in very nicely. The toning water is good to clear up the skin after cleaning and the spot gel is my kind warrior against evil spots. All available under 2 Euro from DM (available in most west slavic countries).

Avene TriAcneal: When my skin is in a bad place this is a go to product, it is not very cheap but it lasts ages. Also good for akne scaring. You can get it at almost any pharmacy or order it online from probably any country in the world.

Rival de Loop Clean & Care Eye Make up Remover: I do love my Maybelline eye make up remover but I need quite a lot of that stuff so I decided to go a bit cheaper. Rossmann offers two very nice EMR oil free and the oily one. I use both and I am pleased with it.

Balea Creme Oil Bodylotion: I love this stuff. It's only available in winter so if you like it as much as I do buy some more before they put it out of the shelves. Cheap, and very very moisturizing. And the smell is amazing too.

Sebamed Q10 Eye Cream: One of the best eye creams I tried this year. Available in pharmacies and drugstores.

Hair Care

Garnier Fructis "Schadenlöscher": Fell in love with the whole series, at the moment my holy grail is the hair oil with heat protection. Not sure if the product series is available outside of Germany but it should. Keep looking out for bright orange packaging.

Tony and Guy Prep Leave in Conditioner: Finally available in Germany. Love this leave in stuff, in Germany you can buy it at Rossmann and in the UK at Boots, or just order it. Pricy but worth the money. I use it for my dry ombred ends before blow drying.

Make Up

Alterra Blush Natural Berry: Not available anymore I think but I just used this one so much throughout the year, such a great berry color! Works well with my berry lipsticks as well.

MAC MSF Porcelain Pink: I have way too much MSF's and this year I decided to really use them instead of being scared they could get empty. Used it almost every day over my blush and I really love the effect it gives my face, looks more fresh and healthy.

NARS Laguna Bronzer: It was in my collection uite some while before I discovered it for me and now it is one of my daily products. I am very pale but this products makes my face look so much more alive. And it lasts quite a while which makes the price a bit less painful.

Maxfactor Burnt Bark Eyeshadow: Probably the only eyeshadow I can list here since I used it so much in comparison to all my other ones. Similar to Satin Taupe by MAC this eyeshadow is just super awesome, easy to blend and super for everyday looks or even for night time with a nice winged liner. If you look for a allrounder pick this one up! NOW!

Benefit They are Real Mascara: One of my most used Mascaras, generally I use more waterproof Mascaras but this one does a good job despite being not waterproof.

Catrice Eyebrow Pencil Date with Ashton: Every day product, perfect color for me.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencils: I just love them, for my eyery day look i use them as a quick eyeliner and they last so well. Favorite colors Bourbon, Stash and Underground. I also still adore my MAC Coffee Pencil.

I guess that is quite enough. What were your loved products?  Let me know!

Empties #4

Here are my finished products for September, one shampoo is missing because my dad wanted to do something good and clean my rubbish up. But it was not a very good one anyway, so not a big loss for this post.

Hair

Balea Color Protect Conditioner: I was quite surprised, that this product is actually quite good for such a small price, the shampoos of this range do usually not work for me. If you can look over the quite artificial coco smell, this is a great budget product, which you can probably get in every country there is DM. Might buy it again some time too.

Garnier Fructis Oil Repair 3 Conditioner: Like you already know I love the orange range of Fructis, but this "miracle" conditioner is not better than the usual one, next time I will buy the normal one again, just a waste of money if you ask me.

Balea Deep Cleansing Shampoo: I am trying to finish up all my shampoo stuff, I am such a horder. Was a pretty good shampoo for oily hair, i just use shampoo for my roots, this is why I do empty more conditioner. But it's is not a product I am desperate to buy again.

Body

Isana Nail polish remover: All time favorite, my nails actually get better with the aceton remover, because I do not have to rub that much. Very good stuff.*

Balea Deo Rasperry & Lemongrass: What a lovely smell, that's why I bought it in the first place, I use Deo Spray just to fresh up, the hard work does my Rexona Maximum Protect. The Balea Deo is also free of Alluminium stuff but contains alcohl, so not nice after shaving believe me. Since they change the smells that often I do not think I will buy this again, I am happy with my current one.

Treaclemoon My Coconut Island: Took me a while to finish 500ml shower creme, but this stuff is very nice, smells incredible and moisturizes well. I will buy it again some time for sure but first I also need to finish up my shower gel stock.

Garnier Bodylotion Intense 7 days with Mango Oil: My mom recommended this to me and it is not bad, I am trying the Hydra Express right now which is even quicker soaking into my skin. But this one is a good product. But not my favorite smell and not rich enough for the winter time for my skin.

Face

Nivea Clear up Stripes: They don't do anything for me, bad product in my opinion. I am currently trying cheaper ones which are much better, might show them next month. Will not buy the Nivea ones again.

L'Oreal Hydra Active 3 Day: I do not know when I finished a face cream the last time, I usually decide to use another one and never finish them up. I liked the cream in general, was hydrating and gentle but the glass packaging is incredible uncomfortable. I still have some other creams to use up before I think about repurchases.

Balea Med Soap free cleaning lotion: Oldie but Goldie. Use it every day for quite a while now, to clean my face and remove the last make up. Perfect for sensitive skin. Already in stock again.*

Rival de Loop Fruit Acid Peeling: Hyped as a dupe to the REN peeling, I bought this one before I knew it was supposed to be so special. It's recommended for 30+ skin but who really does care? I use it and I adore it, maked the skin feel incredible. Just repurchased it again today, it's very cheap (about 2 Euro) and lasts ages. Try it if you have a Rossmann near.

The other stuff

Wilkinson Extreme 3 razors: Always use those, but this one wear with coconut smell, I just bought them because they were on sale, razors with smell, does it get more studip? But good razors in general.*

Qtips: I don't like the cheaper cotton buds. Those are the only ones I use, love them.*

ebelin cotton pads: Finished them with my mom, not my favorites, but ok for a uick clean up of nail polish.*

Lilibe Maxi Cotton pads: My go to pads for cleansing.*

That's it!
Let's see what I got next month (post might be coming later since I move start of November)

Empties #3

So I have been a good girl and collected all my stuff I finished in August. Here we go.

Bodycare

Fa luxirous moments deo - used it on the very hot days instead of parfume, very nice smell since I like to chance deo I will probably not repurchase this any time soon

Vanilla bath Balea - great smell and loads of foam and that fur under 2 euro, will definately buy this again

Isana cream shower multivitamin - used to have this in my swimming bag so I used it up now, nice smell but not moisturising enough for me

Balea cocos & nectarine shower cream - what a great smell, will buy this again

Balea shaving gel - in general good but the coco smell started to annoy me a bit

Isana Birthday edition boby mouse* - one of the best bodycare products in my opinion, new pot waits to be used

Haircare

Garnier oil repair 3 minute mask - I usually buy garnier masks I liked this one as well, next one will be the orange one again just for a change

Balea every daz shampoo blackberry - loved the smell but it was quite liquid, since it is a limited edition I cannot buy it again

Garnier natural beauty conditioner - had this one before I love the smell of chocolate was moisturizing but is not my favorite

Face & Eyes

Lilibe Cotton Pads extra soft* - my favorite cotton pads, just nice and gentle to remove eye make up

L'Oreal Hydra Active 3 - very nice to remove the face make up and it lasted a long time for me, new one is already in use, but I dont use it to remove eye make up

Maybelline Eye make up remover waterproof* - only one which removes my waterproof mascara without issues and does not burn on my skin like acid

Best view all in one for soft contact lenses - best stuff ever, happy they stocked it again in Rossmann

Make up

essence Studio Nails top sealer* - all time favorite

Catrice Infinite matt foundation 01* - already bought the new formula and also own one of the old ones as back up, best drugstore foundation for me

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer 01 - took me some time to finish that one up bought it together with the foundation and like both products, but I feel like I need more cover under my eyes, so I will not buy this again

Quite some stuff right? May the new month of collecting start!

Empties #2

I did not do an empty post in like over half a year, so I collected one two things over the time, of course not everything but I thought I'd show it to you so that I can from now on report on a monthly basis what I used up. So most things you will see in the post, will be things I have something to say about and are new ones I tried. Enjoy..

  • Balea face wipes Green Coconut - I just use them to remove make up from my hands or lipstick, so I cannot really tell if they are great for face use but the smell is nice
  • Balea shavers* - I really like them since they have 3 blades instead of the usual one and are cheap and great for travel
  • Balea Med Sun Fluid SPF 50+ - I have really sensitive skin and this stuff does a really good job I have to say, for all you pale people out there TRY IT
  • Clearasil 3 in 1* (2x) - Was a decent every day peeling but too expensive when not on sale, trying the Garnier one at the moment
  • Lilibe Cotton Pads Maxi* - My favorites
  • Mexx Magnetic Parfume - I bought this ages ago and fell in love with it this summer, since I have so many other fragrances I will not repurchase this one I think
  • essence BTGN topsealer* - cheap and great

  • Balea Exotic Shower - Nice smell and nice foam feeling but not really moisturizing.
  • Head & Shoulders 2 in one - Nice product for winter time when the sculp is a bit dry
  • Balea Brown Conditioner* - I tend to use this stuff from time to time, decent product
  • Fructis Schadenlöscher Shampoo* (2x) - deeply in love witht this line as you will see
  • Fructis Schadenlöscher Conditioner* (2x) - nice smell great result
  • Fructis Schadenlöscher Wunderkur - also a nice product, but the least loved of the whole line, might buy it again I don't know yet
  • Nivea In Shower Lotion (Dry skin)* - I really like the idea and I think it does something for my skin but might be just a placebo effect
  • Litamin Lemon Buttermilk shower - lovely smell, nice skin feeling might buy it again
  • Balea Shower and Cream Blueberry - true love, have to empty some stuff first but will buy this one again for sure
  • Balea Shower Peeling Buttermilk Lemon - did not like the smell or the peeling effect, will stick with soap and glory for peeling
  • Balea Sea Salt Shower Red fruits - does not create a lot of foam but is really gentle, pefect for sensitive skin, smell was very settle
  • Treaclemoon One ginger morning (small) - used it on my holiday and just like the fresh ginger smell, will buy it as a full size one for sure
  • Fructis Schadenlöscher Hair Mask* - Very good hair mask, one of my favorite drugstore ones
  • Wella Proseries Repair Conditioner - huge bottle, but I finished it quite quick since the texture is not really my thing, a bit too watery, and my hair was not really feeling that well
  • Balea Profession. Volume Shampoo* - Nice cheap product, I bbuy from time to time, my mom likes it as well so it's good for thing and thick hair
  • Alverde Shine Shampoo* - Was my favorite for several years and this was a left over bottle, did not use it while not living in Germany and now I just don't like it anymore
  • Palmolive Aroma Therapy Warm Vanilla Bath - Such a great winter smell, nice foam, very good product, when it gets colder this will serve me well again
  • Garnier Mineral Deo - finished it up, do not really dislike it but I found my perfect Deo
  • Lush Angels on Bare Skin* - Used to be part of my daily routine but I found cheaper products which do the same
  • Isana Nail polish remover - the aceton one works better for me
  • RdL Pure Skin Stripes - They are not really sticking to the skin, no effect, bad product in my opinion
  • Dove maximum protection Deo - bought the wrong Deo,I usually go for Rexona and I will stay with rexona but the Dove one was ok too
  • La Roche Posay Effaclair Duo* - best product for imperfect skin
  • Tresime hair Oil - lovely smell, great feeling after using this but the Garnier does the same job and is easier to get here
  • Hipp baby wipes* - my go to handbag wipes, great smell
  • Clinique All about eyes rich (sample) - nice cream, but not perfect, still searching for the perfect eye cream
  • RdL Aqua Spray* - essential during summer
  • Wilkinson Xtreme 3 razors* - favorite ones ever
  • L'Oreal 4D Architect Mascara* - makes very nice lashes, holdes the curve very good despite not being waterproof
  • RdL Cover Stick 01* - best cover stick in my opinion but I use it more during winter
  • Manhattan Clearface Powder Vanilla* - Leaves the best finish to my skin

Weekly sum up #2

This week has been hell for me as a winter loving person, so basically i spent my days on the couch trying not to sweat while sitting.
So in my hottest our I started to watch Fringe again, my favorite tvshow by the way, still haven't seen season 5 since i am too afraid I will be too depressed after it's all over. Well I just love fringe, what can i say. I also watched Superman - man of steel, as a big dc fan i am very much happy about this great movie. Also very great was now you see me, can just recommend that.

My Lipstick collection also got some new company, my douglas order came with the gorgeous on hold lipstick. If it would not be so hot I would wear it right now.

Anyway i hope next week will be colder, hope you survive the heat too.

Too hot also for furry bunnies

Weekly sum up #1

Exciting cooking week for me, not only did I make pencakes, I also did my first cupcakes, the topping well looks, lets be honest like a 3 year old did it but hey it will get better. It is so freakin hot that I spent most of the time lying in the he sun doing nothing, except of creaming my white skin with spf 50+ and reading.

Regarding tv shows there is not so much new this week, since true blood's new seaso started I started watching it from season one again just for fun. I am following the new rookie blue season as well, not a great show, but I just love Toronto, my little weekly piece of Canada ♥

Thanks to our free open air cinema here I watched Hangover 2 and Batman the dark knight rises again, just love DC.

My literature loves have definately been R. Lowry's casuality as well as heart of darkness,  seriously read that book like RIGHT NOW! ! !

Let's see what the new week brings, shall we?!
